TX STEM CO in cooperation with the Rio Grande Valley Rocket Club put on a rocket launch, hosting a school out of North Carolina. They were on an 18 day field trip visiting Aerospace and Astronomy related sites across the Southern United States and were in our area to view the launch of SpaceX's 8th launch from Boca Chica.

TX STEM CO was honored to be contacted to be a part of their learning field trip. Nine students participated, launching rockets that they built from scratch. When the day ended they had completed over 30 rocket launches. The opportunity to share the science behind the rockets in combination with the smiles on their faces made it a wonderful STEM experience.
