The Legislative Internship for the Fall 2025 semester has come to a close, and we’d like to take a moment to recognize our amazing interns. Throughout the semester, they’ve been incredibly hardworking and have left a lasting impact on our office.

Yesterday, Black Girls Govern hosted an incredible Community Celebration Mixer, bringing together Tampa Bay leaders who know that no one should be denied opportunities at work, in school, or anywhere else because of their hair.

That’s why I filed the CROWN Act: to ensure every person can show up as their full, authentic self without fear of discrimination.
