This is why we wrote the book. Right here. Sweet Lottie’s little sister, has serious health issues and shares how the book helped her. Thank you for sending this video Kalla! Love your sweet family!

I had a blast reading, “My Sister is Sick, What About Me?” to the 5th grade classes yesterday at Zachary Lane Elementary School! I talked about our journey with publishing and how they can become authors. It was so much fun. Jen Valiant, thanks for having me! The students had great questions and were so respectful!

If you would like me to come to your school, send me a message! I would love to come. I can do all grade levels. I will also donate a book to your school library. ❤️

If you have a child that is sick, and they have a sibling...this book is for you. My son, Eli, watched his sister go through surgery after surgery. One day after church, he said, "Why do people say they are praying for Ella and no one says they are praying for me?" His comment made me stop in my tracks. I never thought how difficult it was for him to have a sick sibling. Here's the thing...there are TONS of books out there for sick kids, but hardly any for the siblings of sick kids. Until now. This book that Eli and I wrote gives these kids a voice. It validates how difficult this is for them, it gives them tools on what they can do to feel better, and, best yet, it tells them how amazing they are.

Check out the link below and let's help some families.

This book is available in hardcover, softcover and kindle editions.
