For Everyone who is confused by the Recent Fed Funds Rate move that made mortgage rates actually increase, here is info as to why.

Over the last 40 years this has been pretty normal as you can see in the charts. The good news is that over the next few years the mortgage rates will come down.
For those that are thinking they will see 1-2% lower rates as the fed makes their moves, "Thats not how this works". There are days that give you an opportunity to lock in a rate with a quality Loan originator. Make sure you have their phone number on speed dial though. 2 steps forward 1 step back.
If you can save money now, go for it, there is probably another opportunity later as well. It doesn't need to be a One and done.
