Day 1: A Letter to My Past Self

Dear My Past Self’s Name,
I am writing this to you from the future, a place you weren't sure we would ever see. I want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for staying, even when the silence felt louder than your own voice. Thank you for the deep breaths you took when your chest felt like it was breaking, and for the times you chose to keep going when you didn't think you could.

You fought battles that no one else saw. You carried weights that were never meant for your shoulders. And yet, because you didn't give up, I am standing here today.

Today, I choose to see your survival not just as "getting by," but as a massive victory. Every night you made it through and every morning you decided to try again was a sacred act of rebellion. You are the reason I have the chance to heal, to grow, and to finally be free.

I promise to honor the fight you put up by taking care of us now. I am still here, and that means everything.
