When the shocks are completely lowered on a stock setup, they have a built in stop that keeps the tire approximately 1/2" off the fender. With this, you don't have to worry about the bike being immobile or damaging the tire/fender. You can either ride it all the way up and really stiff, or a couple inches down for a smooth ride. The idea for a single rider is about 3-4" below fully extended for a slammed but still comfortable ride. No one else has a kit that allows for this much adjustability while maintaining the comfort.
