KCCG is a not for profit community ceramics studio in the heart of Waldo neighborhood in Kansas City. Started in the winter of 1988, KC Clay Guild has grown from a small group of potters wanting to share information and materials into a thriving ceramics center. KCCG offers adult and childrens classes in handbuilding and wheel-throwing for any ability level or age.

Our gorgeous ELS-600 electric kilns are nearing completion at the factory in Czech Republic, just 2 hours from the ROHDE headquarters in Germany. We can’t wait to put these kilns to use in our new facility this fall! These will be the first ROHDE front loading kilns in the states. Our kilns have some trick features including integrated drying/cooling fans, tons of insulation, and the work is loaded on a drawer that slides in/out for better ergonomics.
