Hey fellow travelers. It was about this time last year when I had the opportunity to spend 48 hours in Oxford, Ohio. My weekend excursion was filled with so many unique things to do, including the Hueston Woods Arts & Crafts Fair. (This year the event is happening June 13-14, 2026). Worth a 🚗!
I also had the opportunity to stay at The White Garden Inn B&B. The breakfasts were amazing and over-the-top. I loved the garden views and wrap around porch. I just wish I had allowed more time to explore all the gardens. Did I mention the innkeepers are amazing? The 9,000 sq. ft. home is perfect if you want to escape with friends or family. The inn offers individual and family-size rooms with plenty of areas to congregate and enjoy time with each other.

Did you have the opportunity over the weekend to view the Nickel Plate Locomotive No. 765 or secure a seat on the Steam in the Valley train excursion? Such a wonderful collaboration between the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad and the Fort Wayne Historical Society.
This special train event is happening again this weekend.
