The Thermal Club was founded in 2012 as a private motorsports country club built for drivers, racers, and automotive enthusiasts in the California desert near Palm Springs. Designed to blend luxury living with world-class racing facilities, the club quickly became known for its high-end garages, private villas, and multiple configurable track layouts.

The circuit itself was developed with input from professional racers and track designers, creating a technical course focused on driver skill, elevation changes, and high-speed flow. Over the years, The Thermal Club evolved from an exclusive private testing facility into a nationally recognized motorsports venue hosting manufacturer testing, professional racing programs, celebrity events, and major series competition.

Today, it stands as one of the premier private racing facilities in North America — combining country club luxury with serious motorsport culture in the middle of the Coachella Valley.
