At the time, it felt responsible. Like I was protecting quality and making sure things got done right.

Looking back, what I was often saying was:

• I don't trust you yet.
• I haven't trained you well enough.
• I haven't built a process that works without me.
• I haven't let go.

The hard truth is that many leaders become the bottleneck without realizing it.

We get promoted because we're good at doing the work. Then we hold on to the work because we're good at it. Eventually, the business starts depending on us for everything.

That's not leadership.

Leadership isn't about being involved in every decision. It's about creating the clarity, accountability, and systems that allow others to succeed.

If your business can't function without you, you don't have freedom. You have dependency.

Crazy how fast a month goes by!

I recently got to travel to Denmark to spend time with family, celebrate birthdays and weddings, and just enjoy quality time together. Still feeling very grateful for it all.
