New google messages changes:

Alongside the ability to delete sent messages, Google is also rolling out the other Messages features it announced as part of the June 2025 Feature Drop. This includes the ability to snooze notifications from a chat. You can snooze conversations for 1 hour, 8 hours, 24 hours, or Always. There's also an option to ensure that you still receive notifications from a snoozed conversation when someone you.

Other new features include the ability to customize the icon of an RCS group conversation and the addition of an RCS label next to contact names when creating a new group chat. The latter will easily help you determine which contacts have RCS enabled and add them to the conversation.

Researchers at cybersecurity vendor Cyderes are warning about a new strain of Windows-based malware, which has been hiding inside cracked games and modified game installers for franchises including Far Cry, Need for Speed, FIFA, and Assassin’s Creed.

The malware has been dubbed “RenEngine loader” because some of the malicious code has been embedded inside a legitimate Ren’Py launcher, an engine used to run visual novel games. “While these cracked games appear functional, they silently deliver embedded malware alongside the playable content,” the researchers wrote.

The telemetry tracker shows the malware is usually logging about 4,000 to 10,000 visitors per day, with the highest concentration of victims observed in India, the United States, and Brazil, the company’s report adds.

Cyderes points to one site, “dodi-repacks[.]site,” for hosting the malware-laden game downloads. The domain has been previously flagged in other malware campaigns.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump honored his late friend, Charlie Kirk, with the nation’s highest civilian honor: the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Friends of Kirk gathered Tuesday at the White House in the Rose Garden, newly renovated by the president, to honor Kirk’s memory and to recognize him for his patriotic contributions to the United States of America. Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widow, was present and emotional at the event, as were many members of the Turning Point USA organization.
