we can not express enough gratitude to the beautiful motherf**kers who patronized our pages today

we sold over three hundred dollars in paper products; we probably gave away closer to the same amount. The people who paid for the zines and books enabled us to hand out a bunch for free, and we can't thank those who engaged in that process of exchange enough. mutual aid baby!!! this is what it's all about. today we got to put a focus on our zines in a way we haven't up until this point, and we're deeply grateful to the festival organizers for giving us this platform to spread the good news.

To the trees who gave us ammo to fire into the world, double thank you; your sacrifice is honored and deeply appreciated.

Submissions are open now for the next issue of x/y: a junk drawer of trans voices, on the theme of ANTIFREEZE.

As current federal policy continues to target, attack, and criminalize our neighbors and communities, we at DPL are dedicating our next issue to art, poetry, nonfiction, or whatever else you send our way responding to and protesting the authoritarian tactics of Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Customs & Border Protection, and other collaborating agencies. The judgment of history will remember those who said nothing—so our platform may not be much, but we're using what space we have to stake our claim and say something.

This weekend, we will be vending at Detroit Zine Fest at The Jam Handy! We will have a full selection of all of the zines we have published since we consolidated as a collective in 2022, including physical copies of the issues which up until now have only existed in digital!

We're honored to be joining dozens of other artists for what's sure to be a hell of a good time, and we can't wait to see you there!
