Ana Thomas is a professional Argentine tango dancer, teacher, and performer born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she began dancing at a young age under the guidance of her father. Deeply rooted in the traditions of tango, her style is known for its musicality, elegance, and emotional depth.
Ana is the 2017 U.S. Tango de Pista Champion, a 2025 World Tango de Pista Finalist, and the 2024 SoCal Sub-Champion in Tango, Milonga, and Vals. She has performed and taught extensively throughout the United States, sharing the richness of Argentine tango with both new and experienced dancers.
In December 2024, Ana originated the role of Luna in Sol y Luna, portraying the daughter of Aldo in an early development of the work. In this role, her artistry expanded beyond the dance floor, revealing a compelling presence as both a dancer and storyteller. Through her nuanced acting and expressive movement, Ana brought emotional clarity and depth to the character, illuminating her gift for embodying narrative through dance and giving voice to the soul of the story.
Join us for an Intimo Tango Salon Experience! May 29-31, we share the first scene of a new tango theater work in development, Sol y Luna, with a premiere of original music, as well as witnessing the dancers up close, followed by a discussion on the process and creation of the show with a Q&A with the cast and team.

From Saturday to Sunday, we will be hosting tango classes with renowned teachers including Ana Thomas, Aldo Romero, and Karen Digiovanni & Luciano Cáceres.
