The flood caused by the moonsoon rains since mid-june 2022 has affected Balochistan, Sindh, Gilgit-Biltistan, Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KPK) provinces of Pakistan. According to the official figures the massive floods have so far claimed 1,061 lives and injured 1,575 people. The estimated number of affected people is around 30 million, and around 1 million houses are totally or partially damaged leaving behind millions in need of urgent shelter.
Floods have wreaked havoc in our country. Since the 2005 earthquake, this is the most destructive natural calmity we have been hit with.
Devasted to see most of the KP areas, Sindh, Balochistan, and South of Punjab submerged in water. Lost so many precious lives.Around 40 million people lost their homes, which is horrifying. The entire Pakistan should unite and help flood victims. Please donate as much as you can! There are several reliable NGOs and institutions collecting donations. Please do your part and help people and areas affected by floods.
