Really enjoying this year doing partime racing and the other parts hanging out with friends, family and doing a little pit crewing along the way. Driver and car will be back on track on June 13th for the Odega Dash Hobby Stock Special at Boone Speedway.
Rest of the season plans; Boone Speedway
June 20th - Hawkeye Challenge
July 4th - Eve of Destruction
July 25th - Salute to Veterans
September 5th-12th - Super Nationals
I am also working on my 2027 schedule with plans of Boone as our only track I'll be at weekly. What tracks or specials should we take the A24 next year? Hitting checklists or head out of the state for the first time?

The green arrows were plentiful but how did i get there to begin with.
As we said yesterday, had our make up feature and started 10th but either the driver, track, or car weren't meshing together. Turns 1/2 were great but the dust in 3/4 were making it hard to judge the lines so I just tried to keep up and figure out different lines to see what felt the best.
This weeks show started Heat 3 in 5th and got swarmed off of the start after creeping up on the car in front of me to quick I had to check up and it was a good thing I let them go. Coming down the backstretch contact and 3-4 were sent spinning. After that found the l8ne and was making it work. Finished 4th but the tech pad got me. Rev box was only at 1000ish while set to the legal 6200 for my crate. Thanks to the official for teaching me and the third place finisher how to reset but it was a DQ for the heat.
Using our head became the mantra for the feature. Scheduled to start 26th with a couple not making the call I just wanted to pick a line keep the nose clean and make it home in one piece. Thats what we did all while going 🔼1️⃣4️⃣ spots to finish 12th on a great and wonderful night. Just wish the people would stay in the stands for the whole show but I understand this week as we didnt finish until 2am and I didnt get to bed until 330 this morning so ill give a pass this time.

Also, thanks to Ronn Lauritzen. Got to park next to the legend yesterday and for someone who barely knows you to get a flat changed right before your race shows you just why I love my racing family. He didnt have to do a thing and I wouldn't expect a thing but he stepped up and got it done.

Back at it again!
Started 10th in the make up feature and couldn't get the driver to drive hard enough. Fell back to 11th at the checkered.
Now for this weeks show it is getting cooler as the sun goes down we start 5th in Heat 3. Maybe we can drive a little harder while using our brain to stay out of the carnage.

I may not have always cheered for him, more often against him for a Hendrick driver but since his son started racing I was enjoying to see the human behind the wheel. This news shakes the whole racing community and I pray for the entire Busch family.
Hug your loved ones a little tighter because you just never know when it is your time.
We're saddened to report that two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch passed away Thursday after being hospitalized with a severe illness.
