We've had a busy (and fun!) week with all the Fourth of July festivities and summer weather! 🇺🇸🐾

First, a huge congratulations to Mr. Ranger, who graduated from his Board & Train program and headed home! 🎉 He made incredible progress, and we can't wait to share his transformation—keep an eye out for his completion video coming soon!

We also welcomed Greyson to the Equalized K9 family! During his stay we'll be focusing on building confidence, mastering his basic obedience, and helping him work through his stranger danger when new people enter the home. We can't wait to watch him grow over the next couple of weeks!

Our boarding crew kept us smiling all weekend with Cooper, Greyson's adorable little brother, and the always-sweet Poppy joining us for her birthday stay. ❤️

And of course, our daycare crew—Scout, Millie, Merle, and Buddy—made sure there was never a dull moment with plenty of playtime, adventures, and enrichment to keep everyone happy and tired.
It's safe to say we've had a full house, and we wouldn't have it any other way! Thank you to everyone who trusted us with your pups over the holiday weekend. 🐶💙

☀️💦 What better way to beat the summer heat than with a Pool Pawty and a birthday celebration? 🎉🐾

Our birthday girl, Poppy, celebrated her 3rd birthday the best way she knows how—surrounded by her daycare friends! She enjoyed a dog-safe birthday cake, a delicious pup cup, plenty of games of fetch, and lots of splashing in the pool while her friends joined in on the fun. 🎂🍦🏖️

📅 Important Schedule Update!

As many of you know, I have a working detection dog, and from August through October we may be taking on a contracted position. While details are still being finalized and nothing is officially confirmed yet, I wanted to give everyone a heads-up about potential scheduling changes.

If the position moves forward, I will be located approximately 3.5 hours away in Illinois during that time. However, training services will still be available! My goal is to come home every weekend or every other weekend, which means:

✅ Private lessons will still be offered on weekends.

✅ Board & Train programs may still be available for clients who are comfortable with their dogs staying with me in Illinois.
I will continue to keep everyone updated as plans become finalized.

Current Availability:
🐾 A few private lesson openings are available over the next couple of weeks.

🐾 ONE Board & Train opening remains for July.

🐾 July 4th week is completely full.

🐾 Boarding availability is still fairly open throughout July.

🐾 July 25th–August 7th is fully booked.

🐾 August 7th–21st is also booked if I am away on contract. Several pups are already scheduled to travel with me to Illinois while their families are out of town.

We said goodbye to sweet Miss Maggie as she completed her 2-Week Puppy Jumpstart Program and headed home with a great foundation for success!

Now we're welcoming the incredibly handsome Ranger! Ranger is here to tackle some severe dog reactivity, and we're excited to help him build the skills, confidence, and emotional control he needs to make better choices around other dogs.

We can't wait to share his progress over the coming weeks!

It must be the week of the "M" names around here! 🐾

Merle, Maggie #1, and Millie have all been enjoying their own little vacation with us, keeping things fun and busy as always.

We also welcomed Maggie #2, who may just be the tiniest board-and-train student we've had yet! She's here for our 2-Week Puppy Foundation Board & Train, where we'll be focusing on building essential life skills, confidence, engagement, and a strong training foundation to help her grow into a well-rounded companion.

We can't wait to watch this little pup learn, grow, and show off just how much she can accomplish over the next two weeks! 💛🐶✨
