Originally, SIFE teamed up with the East Texas Crisis Center in Tyler, Texas to teach women who have been the victim of domestic abuse the importance of a professional brand. We are interested in helping these women regain the confidence they need to start their desired career and end the cycle of domestic violence. Really proud of Serena, Gail, and Barbara discussing our Rising Phoenix Project workshop! It's this Saturday, Feb. 9th from 9:00-2:30 in the UT Tyler ballroom. We'll have Gail Johnson doing her profession branding workshop, assistance for writing resumes, mock interview, lunch and a fashion show! There will even be some agencies there to discuss job opportunities! Very excited and proud of the hard work put into this event.
