📢 10DLC Compliance Update – Double Opt-In
Important clarification regarding SMS messaging and 10DLC:
🚨 This is not a policy we created.
10DLC compliance is enforced by T-Mobile not by us.
As of now, double opt-in is required for 10DLC marketing campaigns.
That means contacts must explicitly confirm consent (for example, by replying “START”) before receiving marketing texts. This consent must be documented and verifiable.
To clarify:
✔️ Marketing messages → Double opt-in required by carriers
✔️ Non-marketing / operational messages → Not required (for now) if implicit or verbal consent exists.
The good news: out platform already support double opt-in. This is about carrier compliance, not unnecessary bureaucracy.
These requirements are part of the carriers’ effort to reduce spam and protect consumers. Following them helps avoid message blocking, filtering, or campaign rejection.
