Two In Two Out
Our mission is to bring wellness directly into the firehouse while also extending support to the spouses and families who walk this journey alongside their firefighters.

Happy Fourth of July!
This year our nation celebrates 250 years of freedom, protected by the men and women who run toward danger so the rest of us never have to.
To every first responder on duty today, in the Magic Valley and across this country… THANK YOU! Your sacrifice, and your family’s sacrifice, does not go unnoticed.
From our family to yours. Happy Independence Day!
This past Tuesday we were honored to reveal new wellness resources at Jerome City Fire Department.
Made possible by the generous support of Agri-Stor. Thank you for investing in the people who serve this community every day.
Red light therapy and a massage chair are now in place, joining the gym, cold plunge, and sauna Jerome City Fire already had.
This space at station three is open to all Jerome City firefighters, Jerome City law enforcement, and their spouses. The massage chair at station two is open to Jerome City firefighters and their spouses.
We are so grateful for departments who say yes to their people and for partners who make it possible.

Our hearts are heavy.
This weekend we lost three wildland firefighters, Emily Barker, Nick Hutcherson, and Sydney Watson, in the line of duty fighting fires along the Colorado-Utah border.
They ran toward danger so others could be safe. That is the weight every firefighter and their family carries every single day.
Our prayers are with their families, their crew, and the entire wildland firefighting community as they grieve this incredible loss.
You are not forgotten.

This past Monday we had the honor of unveiling the Two In Two Out connection box alongside the incredible team at ICCU at Rock Creek Fire District.
The connection box is designed for first responder couples. A tool to slow down, build intentional connection, and strengthen relationships through small consistent habits.
These first 30 boxes are spoken for. This summer we will be distributing them to first responder couples through events in Boise and Twin Falls as well as direct mailings to couples across the nation.
More boxes are coming.
We are exploring what this looks like for the future and we want to hear from you. If you are not a first responder couple would you be interested in purchasing a connection box knowing that your purchase would also fund one for a first responder couple at no cost to them?
Comment below and let us know.
This would not be possible without the generous support of ICCU, Plant Therapy, and Pepper Street Studio. Thank you for believing in first responder families.
Swipe to see the connection box and learn more.

Last week we welcomed Elite Restoration and Petersen Brothers Construction to Buhl Fire Department.
Right now, recovery looks like a red light and massage chair, the very beginning of what’s to come. A brand new station is being built, and with it, a full wellness room complete with sauna and cold plunge.
Thank you for investing in our first responders and helping us build toward what’s next. Two In Two Out exists because of partners like you.

This is our why.
Standing with the Buhl Fire Department in front of their truck, surrounded by the people who show up for this community every single day, is a moment we will not forget.
This wellness room is here because of generous support from Petersen Brothers Construction and Elite Restoration, and because Buhl Fire welcomed us with open arms.
A massage chair and red light therapy panel are in place now, with a cold plunge and sauna to come once their new station is built.
This room is open to full time, volunteer, and paid on call firefighters as well as their spouses.
Our mission is simple. Bring wellness resources directly into the firehouse and extend that same support to the spouses and families who walk this journey alongside their firefighters.
Thank you to everyone in this photo and everyone behind the scenes who made today possible.

Seeing Buhl Fire Department share this today stopped us in our tracks.
This is the mission coming to life.
We are so honored to bring wellness resources to your station and to the firefighters who give so much to this community. Watching a department embrace this and champion it for their crew is everything we hoped for when we started Two In Two Out.
Thank you to Petersen Brothers Construction and Elite Restoration for making this possible. This would not exist without you.
The Magic Valley takes care of its own. We are so grateful to be part of that.

Did you know?
Firefighters face higher risks of su***de, depression, and addiction than most professions.
Not because of who they are. But because of what they carry.
Repeated exposure to trauma, high stress calls, and irregular sleep take a toll that does not disappear when the shift ends.
That is why access to recovery tools inside the station is not a luxury. It is a necessity.
Two In Two Out is working to make that a reality for first responders everywhere.

Grateful does not cover it.
Last Thursday we were welcomed by Petersen Brothers Construction and Elite Restoration at their subcontractor appreciation event to share what Two In Two Out is building for first responders and their families.
These are the kinds of community partners who make this mission possible. Thank you for investing in the people who show up for all of us.
We would love to come share our story at your next event too. In person in the Magic Valley or virtually for organizations anywhere.

Asking for help is a strength.
Sharing how you are really doing is a strength.
Taking time to recover and reset is a strength.
The fire service has always prized toughness. And there is real strength in that. But opening up to your crew, telling your spouse what you are carrying, taking 20 minutes in the wellness room before you drive home — that is strength!
That is what resilience actually looks like.
Two In Two Out is building the spaces and the tools to make that possible for first responders and their families.
