Tracking® can identify areas of inflow and infiltration (I&I) after a single rain event! Frost & Sullivan

iTracking® is advanced analytical software that provides exact volumetric changes inflow between weather events for micro-detection of inflow and infiltration as well as level alerts and duration data for sewers experiencing overflow conditions.

iTracker® is a low-cost Wi-Fi and cellular-enabled sensor that provides 24/7 monitoring and performance assessment.

Eastech's patented technology offers a proactive, cost-effective solution for utilities establishing a targeted, intelligent infrastructure network.

Environmental watchdog groups lobbying state to help fund Jackson sewer repairs 01/11/2022

How do you prioritize your collection system?

I&I has proven more difficult and costly than anticipated; or the capacity of the system has become inadequate due to an increase in service population, without corresponding system upgrades.

EPA believes that every sanitary sewer system has the capacity to have an SSO. This may be due to a number of factors, including but not limited to:
• Blockages
• Structural, mechanical, or electrical failures
• Collapsed or broken sewer pipes
• Insufficient conveyance capacity
• Vandalism

Additionally, high levels of inflow and infiltration (I/I) during wet weather can cause SSOs.

Many collection system discharges from sanitary sewers reach waters within their own communities, contaminating those waterways.

EPA estimates that collection systems in the U.S. have a total replacement value between $1 to $2 trillion.
