Dear Valued Client,
As of June 1st, Sandbrook Benefits Group LLC (also known as Sandbrook Group) is proudly celebrating 20 years in business! When I left Corporate America two decades ago, my goal was simple: to serve clients more personally and effectively, free from corporate limitations.
Since then, we’ve weathered significant challenges—from the financial crisis of 2008, to the sweeping changes of the Affordable Care Act in 2014, to the deeply personal loss of my husband and business partner Joe in 2017, and the uncertainties of the COVID era. Through it all, our guiding principle has remained the same: put the best interests of our clients first. We haven’t always had easy answers, but we’ve always remained committed and resilient.
In 2022, I welcomed Jennifer Hagar as “second in command,” with a long-term vision for leadership succession. Over time, that vision evolved. Rather than taking over Sandbrook Group entirely, Jennifer is launching her own company— The Benefits Collective, LLC—which will take over management of our individual, family, and employer group health insurance clients.
Effective July 1, 2025, these health insurance accounts will officially transfer to The Benefits Collective, LLC (TBC). Many of you already know Jenn Hagar - The Benefits Collective and have worked closely with her over the past 3½ years. She is exceptionally qualified and deeply committed to your continued service.
Sandbrook Group will continue to serve our Medicare clients and will sharpen its focus on helping business owners with strategic risk management, including:
Life insurance for key person and buy-sell planning
Disability income protection
Long-term care planning
Exit strategies for a graceful and profitable transition
Retirement planning
These services remain under the Sandbrook umbrella, and I look forward to serving more business owners as they grow and prepare for the future.
We’re truly grateful for your support, referrals, and loyalty over the years—and excited for this next chapter for both Jennifer and me. As with any transition, there may be a few bumps along the way, but we’re working closely together to make the process as smooth as possible.
