It's been a little while since we've posted anything on hear. A few of you reached out with some concern. Thank you for that! πŸ™
We've been hunkered down outside of Sedona for the past month now. We didn't intend to stay in this spot for this long. At first heavy rains trapped us here by creating a massive mud pit of our escape route. Then we started feeling ill and after reading and hearing so much about the importance of distancing, we figured this was as good a place as any to isolate ourselves.
While boondocking is a great way to separate yourself from the rest of society, it comes with many challenges, like water collection and washing clothes at a laundromat. And living in a small space like this can getting a little claustrophobic when you're used to spending most of your time out exploring the trails and towns you're near, but now you can’t do that.
Fortunately, we can go for short hikes near our camp spot, we have a network of kind friends nearby willing to offer help, and we're getting to see some great sunsets out here. πŸŒ…
But we're looking for a place that's a little more convenient for the next month or two, so we're renting a spot in Prescott that has solid internet, laundry, a flushing toilet, and unlimited water. Really hoping this place doesn't spoil us!
How are you fellow road warriors doing? Have you found a safe haven in these trying times?
Wishing you the best! - Jess and Jay ❀️

We're suckers for latte art, so we had to share this spot!
We also like getting away from the trailer for a bit to do some work. It's nice to see and talk to other people sometimes. It's easy to go a little stir crazy being trapped in there for long periods.
This particular cafe , is located in a really cool spot in Tucson called MSA Annex . It's a bunch of small businesses housed in some tastefully repurposed shipping containers.
There's also a great bottle shop and bike shop on the grounds as well as a sushi place and vegan burger spot. What more can you ask for? Definitely swing by if you're in the area!

After a few days of rain, the clouds parted and the sun came out. β˜€οΈ
We had to stop on our drive home for a quick hike to watch the sunset. πŸŒ…
A fun time was had by all, except for maybe Cooper at this moment...considering he has a cholla stuck in his side! 😣

Being back east for the holidays had us a little cooped up at times. 🏠
Luckily we got out on a hike with some friends and their doggos before the snow melted! ⛄️ πŸ•
