Collecting Carefully

Friday the 13th is a great day

In 's heart, where dreams are dismissed,
Amid the desert's vastness, they persist.
They say, "Don't dare to dream," just follow the line,
Accept the mundane, let dreams decline.

But in each soul, a flicker ignites,
Refusing to succumb to the darkest nights.
For in the desert's shadows, under the sun,
They chase the dreams where new paths are spun.

Despite the skeptics, they stand their ground,
In Tucson's embrace, their dreams are found.
For within their souls, a vision takes flight,
Guiding them through the darkest of night.

They yearn for more, beyond what they see,
In Tucson's fabric, they find the key.
With every stride, they carve their own way,
Towards a future where dreams have their say.

So let them dream, let them reach higher,
In Tucson's domain, they won't tire.
For in their hearts, the truth is clear,
Dreams can thrive, even here.

Of circles formed, where prevail.
But like '97, you find yourself outside,
Watching from afar, where shadows hide.

In stillness, and wisdom are found.

Strength within, and dreams to pursue.
