V I S I O N J U N K I I - I am Maureen, I first began as a self-taught seamstress back in 2015, creating for myself out of frustration from improperly fitting clothing and lack of individuality. As time went on, I learned about the environmental impact of the fashion industry and wanted to make difference. With this vision in mind, I took a yearlong apprenticeship out of Atlanta, GA under a fashion designer. Taking what I learned and pushed forward with my passion by going to college for fashion design, learning more about the industry and how to run a business. In doing so, I fell in love with the creative process, truly enjoying how much happiness others got from wearing properly fitting clothing and expressing individuality through fashion. By design Vision Junkii is all about unique clothing that is size inclusive, recognizing the need for ethically sourced materials and low waste fashion practices. Combining only the softest quality fabrics, flattering seam work, pockets everywhere, in combination with hand dyeing techniques and made to measurement garments. Appealing to those that love comfort without sacrificing style. My focus is to create slow, low waist fashion, one-of-a-kind items, memorable made to measurement garments, and extravagant gowns for rent or order. Every design goes through extensive field testing before it ever reaches the shop. Always improving to ensure the best quality, durability, and functionality of each piece. There are no shortcuts to quality. Utilizing natural fiber whenever possible for the longest lifespan of each garment. Offering an edgy, new take on the daily clothing to evening wear.
