Fredrik Paulsen’s glass & steel chair is crafted from tempered glass, passivated steel, and has sheepskin on the seat to ensure comfort. Its seat and backrest are made of steel to support the weight of the person; however, they are also covered with glass.

SILK SCREEN GLASS

is one kind of decorative glass by silk screen printing high temperature resistant inorganic ink on glass surfac, after drying and tempering, forming wear proof and acid & alkalinity resistance surface, plus which has beauty and safety characteristics.

Flat glass is the basic first product from the float process of making glass. It has a uniform thickness and makes the base for more advanced types of glass through further processing. This glass tends to break into long shards, and will commonly be used in double-glazing following further treatment.

Highball

Wider and shorter than a Collins glass but taller than an Old Fashioned glass, Highball glasses are perfect for most mixed drinks and cocktails. They hold 8-12 ounces of liquid and are generally used for drinks that have more mixer in them than alcohol.

Any of the 4 above types of glass can be laminated. It’s created by layering sheets of heat-treated glass with interlayers of polymeric material. Polymeric materials are macromolecules composed of dillions of repeated linked units. Needless to say, this stuff is ridiculously strong. Three examples of polymeric material that’s used in glass fabrication are pol vinyl butyral (PVB) and SentryGuard Plus (SGP), and cast in place (CIP).

Patterned glass is typically produced by passing heated glass through rollers containing a regular pattern to be imprinted upon the glass. This type of glass is often used for bathroom windows or doors where, like sandblasted glass, light may be required but not total transparency.
