Well, I have really slacked on posting on this page but I'm going to try and get better about it. Our lives have changed quite a bit around here since my last post. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in Nov 2023 and spent all of 2024 getting treatment and surgery. Thank our wonderful Lord and Savior I am cured and in remission but I still don't feel like I'm 100%.

We are one family member less now also. On January 3 this year we were getting settled down for the night and Dexter went into a seizure on the couch. We rushed him to the emergency vet where he had another massive seizure. They admit him and medicated him but the only way to keep his seizures under control was to keep him sedated all the time. We picked him up on Mon Jan 6 and took him to another vet but there was nothing they could for him, they (and us) didn't know what was causing the seizures and after spending $3k at the emergency vet we couldn't afford to do experimental procedures and tests only to still not possibly find the answer. By this point our Bubba was suffering and didn't even know who we were so we made the decision to let him go before he got any worse. Our boy crossed over the rainbow bridge on Jan 6 2025. Our lives and our other babies lives have not been the same since we lost him. We still miss him every day.

Rose and Gunner turned 2 this year on Jan 24, Zwz would have been 8. Of course we had to do a photo shoot and include him too
