Hey y’all!

I’m Cortney, the face behind Cortney Russell Photography, and I’m stepping into 2026 with an already full heart. I’m a wife of almost 13 years (a proud Red Raider who somehow fell in love with an Aggie 🤍), a boy mom to two wild-and-wonderful little guys, and a lifelong sideline mom who cheers louder than their dad wants 😉 and never misses a game!

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me chasing a good sweat sesh at (shoutout to my gym fam 💪), sipping a Diet Dr Pepper, sneaking Hot Tamales, stressing over true crime podcasts, or getting lost in a sappy love story (balance, right?). I’m an outdoor-loving, sports-playing, fishing-with-the-boys kind of mom who always says yes to sunshine and fresh air. ☀️

I’m an extrovert at heart but a major homebody—the small things truly make me happy. Family walks, bike rides with my boys, lake life, time in my little garden, and snuggles with my almost 17-year-old malti-poo, Murray Wayne.

I have a serious case of wanderlust—whether it’s a tiny weekend adventure, checking off a new state, or getting a fresh stamp on my passport, I love exploring with my family. The best magic happens in the everyday moments… the simple memories—and those are exactly the stories I love to capture 🤍📸
