HELLO NATURALISTAS! This year’s charity of choice is Open Arms Transformation Living OATL Toledo under the leadership of Fonda Royster.

OATL provides homeless youth with nutritional food, hygiene products, toiletries, clothing, and other essential items. They also provide social support for youth experiencing homelessness, or other environmental conflicts.

At this present time, OATL is stationed inside of Woodward High School (WHS) and collaborates with WHS’ staff to ensure that the youth basic’s needs are met. OATL serves as a liaison and assists teachers who may be limited with engaging youth experiencing homelessness.

OATL has also partnered with the University of Toledo (UT) Center for Racial Equity and Black Students Excellence to fight against youth homelessness and educational barriers.

OATL provides hygiene products, food, clothing, and social support to referred college students, ages 18 to 20, who are currently experiencing homelessness. These students have little to no social support.

I will still honor all volunteer sessions from now until eternity though so don’t worry🥰. I appreciate the tags, opportunities, and referrals but it’s time for a change ya’ll!
