SGS Magic Grover 13u played in the Fastpitch Classic this weekend. Friday games got rained out and 4 pool games turned into 3 on Saturday. 2 pool games were not their best & earned them the #7 seed going in to bracket first thing Sunday morning with only 9 girls. They came out bats blazing wanting that win! Biggert hit a 2 run otf home run during game 1 that helped the momentum going into game 2 getting another win. Losing in the semi final by 1 run the last inning of game 3...making it to the semi final, from the bottom of the bracket, with only 9 players and having to play positions they've never played before (at times defense was a bit ugly 🫣😉) Nonetheless, these girls lifted each other up and had each other's back until the end. Well done ladies 👏 2 tournaments left in our 13u season, proud of how far you've come as a team this 1st season!
