To kick things off, I wanted to share this quick introduction video here on Instagram too for anyone who’s new around here. While many of the videos and posts will overlap, I plan to experiment with different formats and styles on each platform, so you may see a little something different depending on where you follow along.

Meet the newest addition to our fig collection! 🌿
This beautiful White Madeira #1 fig from Chesapeake Figs arrived today, safe and sound thanks to Kevin’s excellent packaging. It always feels like Christmas when a new fig variety shows up at the door.
We have added quite a few new fig varieties over the past year, and I am really looking forward to watching them grow and, hopefully, tasting their first fruit over the next couple of seasons. White Madeira #1 has quite the reputation, so I can’t wait to see how it performs here in our low desert garden.
