Haydon Building Corp was founded in 1991 by Gary Haydon. At the beginning, Gary ran the operation with an estimator and an accountant making up the entire staff. By focusing on service, Haydon Building Corp has grown into one of the most prominent general contractors in the Southwest. That small nucleus of people has grown into a company of over 500 employees. The tremendous industry response that

For more than a year, the Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center has been a destination for families, fitness, recreation, and community connection.

We are parents, coaches, athletes, and families who use these facilities every week in the same communities we serve. That perspective shapes how we build — and the result is more than a completed project — it's a place we take pride in because we experience its impact alongside the community every day.

Verrado Marketplace is helping shape the future of Buckeye as a destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Across this 49-acre site, Haydon delivered the full site development—including infrastructure, utilities, parking lot paving, sidewalks, and landscaping—while also contributing to vertical construction. This includes multiple retail buildings and “The District,” a central plaza space with a stage designed to bring the community together.

With more than 50 active contracts and a phased approach alongside our partners at Vestar, coordination and communication have been key to keeping progress on track.

What makes this project stand out most is the team behind it—a group that takes pride not only in the work, but in building something meaningful for the Buckeye community.

Once complete, Verrado Marketplace will offer a vibrant mix of shops, restaurants, and gathering spaces for residents to enjoy for years to come.

Where planning meets ex*****on.

This week, crews installed precast concrete girders over the canal — a key milestone in advancing this corridor improvement through Peoria.

As Lake Pleasant Parkway expands to support future growth, this project is doing more than widening the roadway. From bridge construction to new water, sewer, and reclaimed waterlines, every phase is designed to increase capacity, improve safety, and support the community for years to come.

Another step forward, executed with the level of precision this work demands.

Beyond the jobsite, we all have a why.

Every person out there has someone waiting for them at home. That’s why safety isn’t just a priority, it’s personal.

This week, we recognize National Work Zone Awareness Week and the people behind the work.

We work safe so we all get to go home.
