India 2023 was just a crazy experience in so many ways. I wouldn't call it a vacation, because it involved a lot of work and stress and travel (we had 10 different flights on the trip!) mostly by Amanda Taussig Nemec. But we still had a ton of fun and learned a lot.

Our trip started with a quick overnight in New York. After a 90 minute taxi from JFK to Manhattan (which was like 20 miles), we met up with a friend and had amazing Italian food and then saw the incredible Joe Lovano at the famour Village Vanguard. I studied this guy's palying as an aspiring saxophonist during college.

Our flight from JFK to Munich didn't leave until 5pm the next night, so we had an entire morning to go see some things. We chose to see the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. It was incredible and also very emotional for both of us. We have a pretty good list of crazy things we've experienced on travel and the list always starts with flying out of JFK on 9/10, seriously, we saw the towers the day before they came down. It was only a few short years after that I became a firefighter and started doing fund raising for a really amazing foundation and running 5ks inspired by Stephen Siller, . Then we took a crazy elevator ride up the One World Tower. We ended NYC by slamming 4 huge slices of pizza (SLICE!) and a beer before heading to the airport.

Literally as we were scanning our tickets to get on our flight to Munich (then Munich to Delhi), our tickets got flagged and we had to go to the counter. Our flight from Munich to Delhi had been cancelled. It's the first time ever that we both said "whatever, let's go and we'll figure it out". I'm so proud of Amanda for this.

As soon as we got to Munich, Lufthansa sent us to Zurich, Switzerland. You know you've been to Europe too many time when you can't remember if you've actually been to a place. Turns out, we had been to Zurich, but it was still a fun experience.

Unfortunately (and fortunately), we were a day late getting to India which meant that we missed seeing the Taj Mahal. But, that's how the dice rolled and we rolled with them.

What's the most important space in a home? It's got to be the kitchen!

We spend so much time here-cooking (and cleaning), eating, laughing, prepping for the day, dinner, laughing and being with our loved ones.

One of the great parts about doing Real Estate Photography is that we get to see so many beautiful and inspiring kitchens! Check out a few of the amazing kitchens we've had the opportunity to photograph.
