The 3-link rear suspension is what truly made the S197 Mustang a true handler. Unlike the compromised 4 link setup on the SN95, having 3 control arms with a panhard bar allowed for better and more controlled axle movement, which paved the way to high-performance engines such as the Boss 302

Meet

Automotive design peaked in the 1990’s. This Supra is close to 40 years old, but hardly looks it. To put it in perspective, in 1991, a nearly 40-year-old car would have been from the 1960’s.

The only real negative I have is the wheels. 17” wheels were large back then, but they look so small and sunken in. Being painted basic gray on a gray body really doesn’t help. The orange Supra from the Fast and Furious did the fitment right.
