This Valentine’s Day, FIELD is celebrating love in all its forms; the people who show up for us, the communities that lift us, and the neighbors who make us stronger every day.
It’s also a reminder to show yourself some love by investing in YOU. Finishing your diploma with EPIC de Cesar Chavez High School is one powerful way to do just that.
Love yourself. Love your future.

The Environmental Corps Recycling Department is proud to recognize Fabian Gomez as the 2025 Corpsmember of the Year. Fabian began in the Corps program, stepped away to pursue his education, and later returned through the ETR program and rejoining the Corps with renewed dedication. He consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic, a willingness to help, and the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills.
Fabian has played a key role in major improvements at the Watts location, including facility upgrades, fencing, and the setup of furniture and equipment across schools, offices, and the daycare center. Beyond his technical skills, Fabian has grown into a leader and mentor, taking the time to train fellow Corpsmembers on equipment and tools.
His “work comes first” mindset, professionalism, and commitment to the program make him truly deserving of this recognition.

After the holidays, don’t toss those old Christmas lights, recycle them with us! The Environmental Corps collects E-waste, including holiday lights, to help keep harmful materials out of landfills and protect our environment.
We offer recycling services for E-waste, CRV beverage containers, and used tires, and we also share information with the community on safe and responsible ways to handle used oil.
