g operation(s) Just Cause, Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Chase then changed career fields within the Air Force and attended intelligence training at Goodfellow AFB Texas. He was then assigned to the 9th Intelligence Squadron at Beale AFB, California with the Air Force U-2 program. While at Beale Chase earned his private pilot certificate VIA the base Aero Club. While at Beale he was selected several times as Group and Wing level NCO of the quarter. After attaining invaluable experience within the intelligence community, he was then assigned to the US Central Command, Macdill AFB, Florida. As an analyst he was responsible for reviewing intelligence at strategic and theater level concerning weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile activity in the region. Coordinated with National Intelligence Agencies and CENTCOM components to maintain databases, maps and analytical reference materials. Prepared briefings, fact papers and intelligence reports for the Commander in Chief, CENTCOM staff and service components. Chase separated from the Air Force to pursue a career as a professional pilot, while remaining in the Air Force reserves. Shortly after the attack on the nation in September 2001 Chase returned to active duty in his role as a WMD/Ballistic missile analyst at USCENTCOM. This lead to multiple deployments and he was released from active duty in 2003 and returned to his reserve status, this time with the 6th Air Refueling Wing at Macdill AFB. This assignment as the Superintendent of the 6th Operations Support Squadron, Intelligence. Chase retired from the Air Force reserves as a Master Sergeant. Chase joined the Tampa Police Department in Feb 2004 and was assigned to various duties over the years, to include Field Training Officer, bicycle patrol and the police aviation unit. While a Tampa police officer, Chase was selected as department wide officer of the month for solving a jewelry store burglary. MPO Harrison also earned a "life saving award" for performing CPR on a jogger who had collapsed in Al Lopez park. He retired from TPD in 2016 as a Master Police Officer (MPO) to pursue yet another career. He returned to flying commercially by accepting a position as a First Officer with a regional airline. Chase believes in volunteerism and has served with the Civil Air Patrol as an instructor pilot and safety officer at the Hillsborough 1 Senior Squadron, Tampa Executive Airport. He also serves as a representative of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Safety Team, and also with the Tampa Bay Aviation Association. Additionally, he is an elected member of the board of directors at a youth park in south Hillsborough County. He is also a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Chase holds the following Federal Aviation Administration certificates. Airline Transport Pilot, Certified Flight Instructor, multi and single engine land, airplane as well as instrument instructor. He has almost 2,000 hours of flight time and has several specific aircraft type ratings. Chase plans to bring his experience to work for all of the citizens of Hillsborough County. His law enforcement experiences gives him insight to help those he met as a police officer, he has a better understanding of local issues from a 1st hand observation. He embraces the diversity of the citizen's of Hillsborough County and truly believes in the idea that the Republican Party stands for freedoms of the individual and their pursuit of happiness. Personal liberty also means personal responsibility. He has plans to enrich Hillsborough County's economy by bringing new aviation related opportunities which will create high paying jobs to the area. Growth must be better managed with the influx of people to the county. He has plans to lessen the tax burden on the residences and has NO plans to increase taxes, it is all about fairness.
