Protecting Highway 98... One Block at a Time
Jackson Cook recently partnered with Roberts and Roberts to tackle erosion control along Highway 98 near Eastpoint, on the Apalachicola Bridge approach. This vital stretch of road is constantly exposed to coastal conditions, making erosion prevention a top priority for local infrastructure.
Using our all-terrain crane, we assisted in installing Articulated Concrete Block (ACB) mats... Each heavy mat section is precisely positioned to create a durable, interlocking surface that protects against tides, storm surge, and runoff.
