Week one complete!
Our innovators learned semi-conductors, pitched adaptive technology solutions, made videos, and got off campus to visit Equitable and SUNY Polytech.
Week two has our innovators learning personal finance, takes a deep dive into their personal strengths, and will work with our Keenan Center for Entrepreneurship. Another great week of curiosity and discovery.
Congrats to team Kinetic in the Adaptive Technology project taking first place for their project - judged by Tylah Worrell, Morne Cilliers, and Muna Jeylani.

Our Innovators have arrived!
ERIE21's first Youth Program summer camp, Innovation Academy, began on Monday. Over the next two weeks these students will learn semi-conductors, explore adaptive technology, take trips off campus, participate in a filmmaking lab, and so much more!
The opportunity to build community, hone skills, and break out of their comfort zone is unmatched. Stay tuned for more stories of their adventures these next few weeks.
We are excited to share a video production from our Youth Program in partnership with Black Girls Don’t Get Love. This video was made by our Youth Program participants after they received hands on with professional equipment and techniques.

ERIE21 Summer Camps are nearly here! Our team has done an amazing job putting together some engaging camp experiences this year and a huge shout-out to Nauj Brady, Caley Prego, and Sally Sayles Hannon.

Last Thursday our partners at Equitable held their annual celebration, in part to recognize and award 20 graduating high school seniors from CNY the Equitable Excellence Scholarship. Among those recipients were 3 ERIE21 students, and we couldn't be more excited for what they do next!
Congratulations to Gordon Horner, Zinad Abed Abbas, and Sheldon Birthwright.

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping...That can only mean one thing - Summer camp season is nearly here.
You don't want to miss out on your chance to join our Micron Chip Camp running August 10th through August 12th. Eligible students must be in the Syracuse City, Onondaga Central, Lafayette Central school districts, Syracuse Academy of Science, or Springfield Gardens and are current 5th or 6th graders (rising-6th and 7th-graders).
