DESIGN...

For those that are new to me and my page… I am Jeanna George and I started my career journey in Architecture as a Certified Architect. My first experience working in an architecture firm introduced and led me to my love and development of Interior Design. Design is the foundation to pretty much every aspect of my life.

Example…
I had a boyfriend say to me "You know... even when you cook, you always make the food look beautiful on the plate." But why not?!? I grew up having a Grandmother that owned her own catering business. It was a family business and at a young age I was the one who made the food look beautiful in it’s presentation. So that's where it started... and over time I've learned that the environment that you are in when you eat, strongly affect the enjoyment of your dining experience which even affects your wellbeing. The way your kitchen and dining area is designed, is a direct correlation to a healthy lifestyle. Your kitchen design... not just the aesthetics but the functionality will encourage the desire to cook... which creates a healthier lifestyle. Where are you eating in your home... your dining room/space should be inviting, moody, and comfortable... which invites gathering of loved ones, invites conversation, invites slow dining... which creates a healthier lifestyle.

Therefore, I believe that the overall design of our environments truly enhance our life experiences. Those are details that I find important when I work with a client. I believe that each design process is a unique experience for each individual and your uniqueness should be reflected in the personalized expression of your environment. Known for designing organic, modern, polished spaces with a precise, considered approach, my interiors incorporate unexpected elements, purity of materials along with custom designed details that are timeless.
