Youth Athletic Development! There are specific motor skills you need to coach at certain ages. Biomotor qualities like strength, power, speed, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance is NOT a focus at my nephews ages. Under the age of 10 we focus on their movement skills. I coach task based outcomes and movement skills. Kids this age need to be entertained. Gamify movement skills that have purposeful challenges that are meaningful to them. We always play games.
