That’s called the natural bloom (cuticle) and it’s basically nature’s protective seal 🥚

You know that hen is producing some seriously high-quality eggs.

Most store eggs?
Washed… stripped… and then artificially coated.

But THIS… this is straight from the coop.

Picked up another set of hatching eggs and I’m honestly just taking a moment to appreciate how far this is going.
