We did the 5k today. It was a great time.
It is nice to just go out and have fun but still push ourselves a bit.

Even the rehearsal concerts rock. The kiddos are so great. I can’t wait to see how good she gets over the years. It’s hard to believe she hasn’t even been doing this a year. School of Rock knows what it is doing.
Today we got to hear their teacher perform and perform they did. Belting out some good tunes and shredding on the guitar.

So I am not the biggest meal prep person but I can say that cooking extra protein does help for quick snacks. I have my air fryer and clay cooker going with 2 types of chicken. This will give me plenty of meal options for lunch during the week. Here are a couple of examples of what I might do with my bbq and lemon pepper chicken.
- chicken with salad greens
- shredded chicken wrap
- chicken and broccoli
I will probably be tired of chicken by then so I may spend an evening cooking a soup or beef. Trying to keep things simple but with some variety.
