We are so grateful for all of our wonderful families. We know that the holiday season can be a challenging time for our autism learners, with all the changes in routine and new experiences. We're here to support you and your family in any way we can.

Here are a few tips for supporting your autism learner during the holidays:

-Prepare them for changes in routine. Talk to them about what to expect and show them pictures or videos of Thanksgiving celebrations.
-Create a safe and comfortable space. If they're feeling overwhelmed, make sure they have a quiet place to take a break.
-Use visual supports. Visual schedules and social stories can help them understand what's happening and what's expected of them.
-Be patient and understanding. Remember that this can be a difficult time for them, and they may need extra support.
