Stratosphere Adventures
Back in September of 2014, we sent a balloon to the edge of space for the first time and retrieved the video of the entire journey. We couldn't do it just once, and we don't plan to stop anytime soon. Join us as we constantly strive to achieve results in accurate landings and high quality video by sending cameras to the edge of space. We aim to upgrade more and more with each mission and have plans for some very exciting things in the future!
The launch today will be happening at Halpatiokee park at the soccer field in the front. We will be there around noon with a liftoff at 1:10 if anyone cares to come join us. Looking forward to a great day of incredible videos and pictures from all around the country!
We are just about all set for tomorrow. Sending it up with the two cameras we usually go with, forecast was just a bit too unfavorable to risk sending my still shot camera. One of the cameras will have a solar filter while the other will not so we'll see what kind of video we end up with. There are a lot of people all around the country that will be sending up balloons so it should be an amazing day all around. We'll update again in the morning with the final flight details and hope everyone has a great eclipse viewing experience!!

This is why we really can't plan these more then a week out. Saturday is now a complete no-go due to a big shift in the winds. Sunday is looking a bit better if this manages to make its way through faster then its supposed to, but its not looking good.
