It’s time to get ready for our long day out in the ☀️, but how do you prepare? The same way we take extra care of our skin during the summer months, we need to do the same for our hair. ⁠

Let’s go over some of our essential pre-beach/pool🏖️ haircare steps:⁠
1. Wet or soak hair before getting into pool or beach water.

2. Don’t forget conditioner! Applying conditioner is a great way to prep your hair for that salty seawater or chlorine. It will also help to keep your hair from drying out in the heat.

3. Girl, braid or twist that hair up! Between the dry heat and the waves, you'll be heading home with a lot of detangling work to do. ⁠

What’s in your beach bag? It's so important to carry around hair essentials, even at the beach. So don’t forget… ⁠
✔️ hair ties, a hat or scarf⁠
✔️ leave-in conditioner (you can even find some with SPF) ⁠
✔️ coconut or shea butter hair oil to guard against salty seawater or chlorine ⁠
✔️ brush and/or comb ⁠
✔️ a million bobby-pins just in case 😄⁠
