this weekend at swan meadow! On Friday we’ll have a life drawing practice club — if you need some practice drawing from life, come practice with some lovely folks. No RSVP required.
On Saturday, .studio and will be teaching a hand-bound zine class! Come learn about zine history and bind a spring zine :) tickets on our site 🎟️
All events are masks-required and masks provided😷💕

April calendar is here with no fools and lots of fun. Open hours are not back (yet! 👀) but yes we are still defiantly pushing through the fatigue even though we said we’d lay tf down. Lots of things are cooking and we’re doing our damndest to make sure it’s ready soon especially as we are on the hunt for a new spot for the studio/storefront.

If you’d like to support us, come to an event, buy some art from the shop, support Mell’s grant project or hire us as your design team! It’s a fu***ng trip out here and so many of the small businesses in our lovely city are working hard to stay afloat🌊

we had the absolute pleasure of printing this 2026 calendar for this month!! designed the cover and four of the interior months (pictured here), and the rest were illustrated by employees and friends of sugarwitch. all pages were done in two of Donna’s 5 colors — fluo pink, yellow, mint, maroon, and black. everyone came and did the binding together which was so lovely!
these are a super limited run (and an amazing deal — 12 free ice cream sandwiches included, one per month). get yours from sugarwitch before they’re all gone 🧚🏼

It seems that Halloween is cursed for us... Going to have to RESCHEDULE TSL Speed Dating for NEXT MONTH. This event was holding a lot especially as it is also the 1 year anniversary of Bug having his first of what would be many seizures until he passed. Cancelling the event last year was rough especially once we received disgruntled messages from folx about cancelling so abruptly. That’s a whole ‘nother story for later but alas, this year got even more on our plate.

The motto is Community Over Everything and that includes family. Becoming caretakers while running a business was def not in the plans but we’ve got a great community, strong wills and hell of a lot of creativity. Apologies for having to tend to another of many fires. We’ll make it up to y’all! 🦢🫶🏾💞
