Most recently I was appointed as the initial parent representative to the Consortium Partnership Network (an effort to give failing schools flexibility in operations) and a part of the COVID-19 Restart Schools Task Force. I was also one of two parent representatives on the State Appointed Board task force on the future governance of our school district. It was during this experience, I realized that the best way to continue the work of improving the Saint Louis Public School District for our kids was to run for school board.
