At One Rb World, the Child Life program is so much more than a room full of toys, books, crafts, and games.
It is a place where children can play, ask questions, make friends, explore big feelings, and feel less alone in their retinoblastoma experience.
These photos from our 2024 One Rb World Child Life program in Hawaii capture some of the joy, creativity, laughter, and connection that happen when kids have a space created just for them.
We are thrilled to bring the Child Life program back for One Rb World 2026 in San Antonio, giving children, siblings, young relatives, and children of adult survivors their own place to belong while families and professionals gather, learn, and connect.

A little winner update that made our day. 💛
Cindy Hansen, winner of the handmade quilt from our World Retinoblastoma Week giveaway, sent us this beautiful photo with her prize, and we just had to share it.
Thank you again to everyone who entered, donated, shared the giveaway, or helped us spread awareness during World Retinoblastoma Week. Every bit of support helps World Eye Cancer Hope continue providing education, connection, advocacy, and support for families and survivors affected by retinoblastoma.
👀 And yes, we love a good giveaway around here, so stay tuned for the next one!!!
You can continue supporting our work anytime at givebutter.com/wechope.

A message from this spring's International Society of Ocular Oncology - ISOO Rio, where leaders in ocular oncology, child life, and the community were already looking ahead to One Rb World 2026.
We’re grateful to Dr. Jesse Berry of Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Dr. Maura Di Nicola of Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Marissa Gonzalez, World Eye Cancer Hope USA President, and Morgan Livingstone, WE C Hope Child Life Director, for helping us plan a meaningful gathering for families, survivors, medical professionals, researchers, and advocates in San Antonio this September.
