High School Teachers! The Young Botanist award is now open for nominations! This is a great way to support a graduating senior with a passion for plants.

The 2026 BSA Young Botanist Awards are now open for nominations!

These awards honor outstanding graduating seniors in botanical science and encourage their continued engagement with the Botanical Society of America.

Top nominees receive Certificates of Special Achievement, complimentary BSA student membership, and recognition in the BSA members’ newsletter, on the BSA website, during the 2026 Social Media Awards Blitz, at the Botany 2026 awards ceremony, and in Plant Science Bulletin.

This is a wonderful way to recognize the hard work of graduating seniors and showcase them to the broader botanical science community.
