Next draft throwback is .isaiahstewart | A few thoughts on his game from hs to now... ⁣

This kid is a physical specimen and has been for quite some time. He has the body that can go to war with NBA bigs today. He is arguably the highest energy big in the class. His motor doesn’t stop and hits the glass hard. His physicality on the defensive end and on the boards is what you really love about him. Some guys just have a knack for seeing where the ball is going to go off the rim and grabbing it, he has this. With a league that is producing a ton of long range shots comes a lot of long rebounds and he is someone that has the strength, athleticism and awareness to track them down. He has a very put together shooting motion and overall great mechanics so with reps he’ll be a consistent mid-post threat with a chance at stretching it to the 3 more too. If he understands how to play without fouling at the next level he will be the anchor to a lot of successful defensive schemes at the next level. He has the ability to score over either shoulder so focusing on adding more moves to his post baggage as well as his mid-post game will ensure he produces just as much on the offensive end as he does on the defensive end in the league. ⁣

Draft throwback ⁣| a look back at his game from hs days to now ⬇️

The most explosive guard in the draft. I was very high on Cole out of high school and still am. With a russell westbrook type athleticism, cole is a tough matchup at all levels and is simply about the bucket. My favorite part of Cole’s game is the dawg he has in him and the tenacity that comes with it. No matter what the circumstances are, you know he will compete. He can score it at all levels but will really need to focus on extending the 3 range even more as more PG’s now are becoming 4-level scorers and stretching it back to the logo. His athleticism and ability to get to the rim makes his transition scoring top notch. It will be important to put just as much of that focus on now slowing it down and changing speeds with an effective pace at the next level. While working with the proper coaches and vets to really effectively utilize that pick and roll and make a career out of it such as CP3 has. UNC has a tough year and it forced Cole to feel like he needed to do it all himself. It’ll be key to now understand there’s more talent around than ever before so he pick his spots more efficiently and the entire game will start to slow down. It’s obvious Cole has an advanced offensive skillset still with things to improve on, but the most upside I see for him is defensively. His athleticism paired with the fire he plays with should be a recipe for an all-nba player. It’ll simply be about how willing he is to sit down and guard and staying in the film room with coaches and vets to understand the different schemes and little things such as footwork and balance on defense. I believe he can be an ELITE defender if he locks in.

It’s week and it’s some HOOPERS ready to step into the spotlight. First draft week throwback is .3 | a few thoughts on him from high school days to now: a wing on paper but a guy that can play any of the guard positions 🔥 3-level scorer that does not need a screen to get his off and will finish through you and punish the rim if he needs to. One of the most athletic guys in the draft but also one of the most skilled. A lethal combination when utilized properly. A very-willing passer that can really fit into any offensive scheme. Especially with his ability to play off the ball and catch and shoot it at a high clip. This combined with his sheer athleticism and grit on defense means he can be one of the most ELITE two-way players in the league as his body is already league built and he’ll continue adding to it. Some might call him a ! Plus he’s just got a little of that dawg in him that you can’t teach 🤷🏾‍♂️ A focus on improving his decision-making and tightening up the handle will have him lined up for a long and productive career in the league. He is one of the most explosive guards in the draft but playing at an efficient pace and controlling the tempo will be key at the next level when the pressure is ramped up. Ensuring that handle is tight and on a string will be a major key to make sure that happens. But one things for certain, bro does not lack confidence and that’s all you can ask for 😤
