Project Animal Freedom - Decatur, IL

We had a marvelous time at Spread N Buns today! Everyone was happy with their lunches and we talked and stayed longer than we intended because we enjoyed the companionship and conversation so much!

I traveled eastward on Pershing today, passing Benny's Grill, and to my surprise, our billboard is still up! It was put up the first of the month in September 2025, so it has been up seven months! I know everyone loves this baby pig, and I hope the message is being felt, but I also think the location may not be a top choice so that could be why it is still up . . . or we just may be lucky!

Updating our flyers for our table at the Macon County Festival of Spring, maybe the Farmers Market in June, Pride Fest, and for handouts to college students. Project Animal Freedom - Decatur, IL will show the townspeople that what they consume is one of the most important choices they can make. 2026 is already a busy year for us!

Project Animal Freedom - Decatur, IL dined at Smack'n Tacos and we always know we can count on their restaurant to fit our small groups or our larger ones! A few of us came out despite damp and cold weather, and had a super time!
